Demi Moore is coming clean again about her latest health craze: The Master Cleanse. Mrs. Kutcher has been on a diet that consists only of Cayenne pepper, lemon juice and maple syrup! On Tuesday, the actress Tweeted “2day’s day 13 4me on The Clean Program!”
The three-week cleanse has been raved about by stars like Gwyneth Paltrow and Beyonce for its weight loss and detoxifying abilities. No solid food is eaten on the cleanse and the diet is followed for 10 days or longer.
The cleanse is suppose to eliminate toxins and congestion that have built up in the body, resulting in weight loss, increased energy and even the alleviation of some chronic diseases. Here’s the recipe if you’d like to replicate The Master Cleanse at home:
- 2 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
- 2 Tablespoons Rich Maple Syrup
- 1/10 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Powder – or to taste (as much as you can stand)
